Three's the charm for Brantley Gilbert. The singer's third studio effort, Just As I Am, is debuting at the top of the Billboard Country Albums chart to become his first number one disc.
Billboard.com says fans picked up 211,000 copies of Brantley's CD, giving him the best sales week of his career -- and the second-best sales week for any country album this year. Only Eric Church's The Outsiders did better, logging sales of 288,000 following its arrival back in February.
Brantley has also become just the third country star since the start of 2013 to sell more than 200,000 copies of an album in a single week. Luke Bryan joins Gilbert and Church in that club with his disc Crash My Party, which sold 528,000 after hitting stores last August.
