Jerrod Niemann is taking in a little baseball on his summer tour. The country star made a stop at Chicago's Wrigley Field Friday to see the Cubs play -- and sing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" during the seventh inning stretch.
He also chatted with the Cubs' announcers on WGN America. Jerrod discussed some of his earliest songs -- which he wrote at the age of ten -- admitting they're not quite up to par with what he's writing today. He recalled performing at Wrigley Field last year, saying it was a "great honor" to join Brad Paisley for his 2012 concert at the iconic ballpark.
Niemann added that he's now on the road a lot, but after spending "many years" watching "the paint dry" on the walls of his home he welcomes all the opportunities he gets to perform for his fans. Jerrod has also posted a number of photos on Facebook from his time at Wrigley.
His touring continues with a show in Kirksville, Missouri on Monday.
