Larry Gatlin is helping the Grand Ole Opry with its latest promotion. The country star is giving his own "dramatic interpretation" of the Florida Georgia Line hit, "Cruise."
In his video Larry also admits he's reading the lyrics off a cheat-sheet, because he "didn't know all of it" and "this song's longer than the Declaration of Independence."
Bobby Bones did a dramatic reading of "Cattahoochie."
Other "dramatic interpretations" include "Nashville" star Eric Close reading the words to Taylor Swift's "22" and Opry star Jeannie Seely delivering a reading of Reba McEntire's "Fancy."
Billy Ray Cyrus' "Achy Breaky Heart," Jake Owen's "The One That Got Away," and Thomas Rhett's "It Goes Like This" get "dramatic interpretations" as well.
Country stars, radio personalities, and fans submitted clips for the promotion. The public is now welcome to visit the Grand Ole Opry's Facebook page and vote for their favorites.
