NFL Becomes Much Stricter on Domestic Violence

NFL Becomes Much Stricter on Domestic Violence
Posted August 28th, 2014 @ 4:32pm

After the last incident of domestic violence involving an NFL player (Ray Rice), the NFL issued a 2 game suspension. That angered many Americans and fans because it showed that the penalty for abusing someone was far less than doing drugs. The attitude that a player could do something to himself and get banned for a season yet could physically abuse someone else and only get a 2 game ban really irked people and made them question where the NFL's values really stand. Well, the NFL has responded and now domestic abuse will result in 6 game ban for first time offenders and a lifetime ban for a 2nd offense.
