Tim Tebow may finally be getting off the bench -- to appear in a big-budget, Christian-themed movie.

The quarterback, who has had trouble getting into the groove in the NFL, has been offered a role by the production team behind the faith-based hit Crossroad. You are an inspiration to so many on the field and off, and I'm sure your passion will also come through in films."

Tebow is signed to the New York Jets, but he seems to have plenty of free time on his hands these days should he want to take the gig.
