When Miriam Marie “Mae-Mae” Burbank passed away earlier this month, her daughters wanted to honor the way she lived her life. So instead of a traditional funeral, the New Orleans residents pulled what can only be described as a "Weekend at Bernie's" scenario. They propped up their late mother in a chair at a table and even outfitted the corpse with a Menthol cigarette and her favorite beer. The section where Miriam was propped up was roped off to the funeral attendees. But her friends and family were invited to step over to the exhibit and pay their final respects. (Fox)

Match.com Will Set You Up With Your Ex’s Doppelganger For $5K

Got $5,000 burning a hole in your pocket and the creepy inability to move on from past relationships? Then, Match.com might be the place for you. Match.com has partnered with Los Angeles-based matchmaking service Three Day Rule a company that uses facial-recognition technology to find dates for users to help you find the “type” of guy you want to be matched with. In the next few weeks Match.com members will be able to upgrade to Three Day Rule's premium service, with the steep price tag of $5K. This service asks users to send pictures of exes to determine the look they're attracted to. Now, the reason why you still have pictures of your Ex is probably something you should take up with your therapist. Talia Goldstein, the founder of Three Day Rule, says her years in matchmaking have proven that people have types. "I always ask my clients to send me photos of their exes,” she explains. “They say that they don't have a type, but when I see the photos, to me they look very similar. The ex's may be different ethnicities, or have different hair color, but their facial structures are the same." (Mashable)
