Well this really stinks! A Georgia man fell INSIDE an outdoor toilet, filled with uhhh...well you know...and remained stuck for more than an hour. Too bad a newspaper didn't fall in with him, could have helped him pass the time.
For reasons that remain unclear, an elderly man in North Georgia decided to stand (instead of, you know, sitting) on the rim of an outdoor toilet at Carters Lake, which is managed by the U.S. Corps of Engineers. As a result, he fell inside the toilet, into a five-foot deep, poop-filled area beneath the facility.
"We've had these type of toilet facilities for 10 to 15 years, and he just mis-used the toilet, unfortunately," [U.S. Corps of Engineers spokeswoman Lisa] Parker said.
The man was trapped inside the poop pit for roughly 70 minutes. According to Parker, it took a while for his family to notice he was missing and, once they did, they had to call park officials to unlock the door. The man was found "covered in mess and scraped up," and was taken to a nearby hospital, where his condition remains unknown.
