An artist has designed a “normal” Barbie with average woman’s proportions ... and has a campaign to manufacture it himself.

Nickolay Lamm’s doll – named Lammily – is based on the average 19-year-old body type.

So instead of Barbie’s ridiculous top-heavy, stick thin figure, Lammily looks … healthy.

Lamm chose to stop waiting for toy companies like Mattel to come around to the idea – and is in the process of raising money with a Kickstarter campaign.

He plans to market the toy with the tagline, “Average is beautiful.”
