BRANTLEY GILBERT SAYS SONGS ABOUT JANA KRAMER WILL REMAIN ON NEW CD
Despite their recent break up, Brantley Gilbert says his new album will include songs inspired by his romance with ex-fiancee Jana Kramer. He told CMT, "The love songs are still on there. I didn't change anything. It's kinda like how tattoos are chapters of your life. And all my records are chapters of my life. They all tell stories, and obviously she's a big part of the story."
Brantley says he won't talk about the relationship, so instead he sings about what happened saying, "I sing about the things that I don't have conversations about. That's me giving as much as I can."
When they were engaged, Brantley and Jana lived together in Nashville. Brantley has now moved back to Jefferson, Georgia, but has been traveling back and forth to Nashville to record his new album.
He said, "I'll be in Nashville for a while now. Then I've got some time off. I had a wedding scheduled, and my schedule just opened up."
Brantley's new single, called "Bottoms Up," will be released next month. The new album, reportedly called Just As I Am, is expected to be released early next year.
