The nominees for the inaugural iHeartRadio Music Awards have been announced, and several of country music’s biggest artists join the star-studded list.  Taylor Swift and Blake Shelton lead the pack of country nominees with three nods apiece.  Both are nominated for Country Song of the Year.  Other country nominees include Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett, Randy Houser, Darius Rucker, Florida Georgia Line and Jason Aldean.  Check out a full list of iHeartRadio Music Award nominees now by clicking the picture above...

Jason Aldean rules the charts again this week with his hit “When She Says Baby”.  This makes the fourth #1 off the album and Jason’s Lucky #13 of his career – so it seems like the perfect way to bring this album cycle to a close.  He’s already digging into new songs for his next album.

Shakira surprised fans last month when she announced an upcoming country duet with Blake Shelton.  Specific details about the collaboration have been kept on the down-low…until now.  The song is entitled “Medicine” and will appear on Shakira’s upcoming album which hits stores on March 25th.

Blake Shelton’s latest song “Doin’ What She Likes” is the third track from his Based on a True Story album.  Blake jokes that the song is a way for him to get in touch with his feminine side...we agree!

Jason Aldean and Tim McGraw have signed on to play the 2014 NCAA March Madness Music Festival in conjunction with the NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four in Dallas.  Jason will play the AT&T Block Party on April 5th.  Tim will headline the Coke Zero Countdown Concert on April 6th.

Hunter Hayes will donate the cash equivalent of a meal to Feeding America’s Child – Hunger Ends Here program each time his song “Invisible” is downloaded on iTunes.  In addition, Hunter’s upcoming tour will be presented by the hunger program.  That tour kicks off March 20th in Kentucky.
