It’s Mardi Gras in New Orleans and Carrie Underwood was in the Big Easy over the weekend for all of the action.  She actually headlined the Krewe of Endymion on Saturday tweeting a party play-by-play from the Extravaganza inside the Super Dome.  Carrie’s next show is at the inaugural iHeartRadio Country Festival March 29th in Austin, Texas.

Brad Paisley, Chris Young, Zac Brown Band, Toby Keith, Sara Evans and Jerrod Niemann have teamed up with The Doobie Brothers for a country spin on some of their classics.  The album is just about done…and should be released later this year.  This isn’t the first time The Doobie Brothers have dipped their toes into country waters.  Back in 2011, they did a CMT Crossroads with Luke Bryan.
