Congratulations to Dan and Shay, who made chart history this week with their debut album, Where It All Began.  They have the best selling album on the county charts and are the first duo to debut at #1 with a first album.  They’re also the highest-charting debut artists of 2014 so far, according to their label.

We don’t know who is going to be crowned this year’s champ on The Voice – but we know that the winner and runners-up will be hitting the road together this summer.  The season’s champ, second and third place contestant will headline the 31-date trek, with an unspecified number of other finalists.  The tour will also spotlight a handful of favorites from previous seasons.

Luke Bryan heads back to Las Vegas next month as the lead country Billboard Music Awards finalist with seven nods, including an all-genre nomination for Top Male Artist.  Florida Georgia Line are finalists in four categories.  Blake Shelton is up for three, and Darius Rucker and Taylor Swift are each in the running for two.

Jason Aldean didn’t spend much time in Las Vegas after winning the ACM Award for Male Vocalist of the Year on Sunday.  He had to get back to Nashville to work on his new record.  He’s hoping to have a new single out by the end of June and a new album out later this fall.




Eric Church has announced dates for his 2014 The Outsiders World Tour and Atlanta gets one of those dates.  He’ll play the Arena at Gwinnett on December 11th.  Ticket on sale information hasn’t been released yet, but you can gain access to exclusive pre-sale tickets by joining Eric’s fan club.
