In Moscow, commuters can ride the subway for free – if they do 30 squats.

Riders entering at the Vystavochnaya station have two minutes to complete the exercise – and actually have to do it in front of a machine that senses if they’re doing the deep knee bends correctly.

If they do the squats – and do them correctly – they don’t have to spend the 92 cents on their subway ticket.
