Women's History Month: Otis's Nanny Had A Women's Radio 1st

It's awesome to honor our brave ladies that blaze a path and change the world for the better. My wife's Nanny had a 1st for women in radio. Her name is Gay Duncan from the mountains of North Carolina. She eventually named her segment "Gay's Corner" and it was a pretty big deal in her area.

Several times she attended the Grande Ol Opry in Nashville and made contributions throughout her radio career, to pave a bigger lane for women to follow in the radio business behind her. Cool to have a radio vet in the family! Of course I'm her favorite :-)

Don't miss our "Inspired Women" radio station on the iHeart Radio app playing all month as well. It's focused around awesome women in music and the women who inspired them on their path.

Plus, Maren Morris, Cam, Miranda Lambert and more have their own dedicated stations for the months as well. Just search their name in the iHeart app or go to iHeartradio.com and search there.
