Georgia Police Act As Utility Workers To Catch People Using Cell Phones

Marietta police, Georgia State and Cobb County were all involved in a sting operation to catch motorists using their cell phones while driving. As you know, Georgia is a "hands free" state. Police had officers dressed as city utility workers who would then radio to other officers when they witnessed a person using their cell phone. The combined agencies wrote over 150 tickets and arrested three people.
