It seems like the shark sightings near pedestrian beaches are on the rise. Several stories of close encounters and even attacks have been seen off the Carolina coasts and now this massive 13-ft shark seen off the Florida coast this weekend.
Navarre Fire and Rescue shared a scary sight for beach goes on their Facebook page. It was a Hammerhead shark the size of a truck in the shallow waters where people swim. The fin alone terrified me looking at the pictures. Look at this thing!
Another massive shark school was seen tearing up some chum off coast of North Carolina as a shrimp boat passed. They were in a feeding frenzy, not far from shore.
I love the ocean and the beach.... but I'm not tryna be anyone's dinner!
