Man Leaves Funeral Attendees His Entire Fortune

The owner of a Wisconsin dry cleaner left his entire fortune to "whoever showed up to his funeral." Dennis Valstad owned a dry cleaner near Ripon, Wisconsin. Valstad never married, had no children and no immediate family so he had decided to do something different. At the time of his death, Valstad had amassed $500,000 in his total wealth. Valstad had it written that "whoever shows up to my funeral will take a part of my money." 270 people showed up and they all split the money. Weeks after, they all were given a check for $1,800.
