Researchers Say Swearing Helps You Have a Better Workout

Researchers at Keele University, in England, have concluded that swearing actually boosts your performance at the gym. Swearing causes your "fight or flight" reaction which triggers your adrenaline more than if you used neutral words. Swearing also helps the body stay in control. Swearing triggers an emotional response to help the body combat pain. The researchers did conclude that while swearing can help, it loses it's impact if done too much, as it's conditioning the body as a norm.
