Peter Frates was a college baseball player who was diagnosed with ALS. Frates wanted to share and inspire others so he created the "Ice Bucket Challenge." His only goal was to reach Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft. The Ice Bucket Challenge went viral nearly 10 years and raised over $200 million worldwide. Frates lost his battle at the age of 34.
