I'll take "Things You Never Say To A Pregnant Person", Alex. The statement Maren Morris shared that her hairdresser said made her cry... it may have also been the pregnancy hormones.
Maren Morris is finding out about all the fun hormones and random things that make you cry during pregnancy, it seems. She is due with her first baby in March and is in probably the most difficult part of the pregnancy... the third trimester. She shared a recent experience that was a major back-handed compliment by her hairdresser. I'm sure she meant well, but DANG!
Maren took it in stride and lightheartedly joked about it on twitter writing, “Third Trimester Hormone Update: My nail lady said, ‘Your face doesn’t even look that fat,’ and I genuinely teared up I was so touched." OUCH! Nope... nope ... nope! I've been through 3 pregnancies with my wife, statements like that will get you stabbed.
Thankfully, it wasn't her hubby that said that. Ryan... only things like "baby, you are so beautiful!" or "Oh, wow you are glowing" are acceptable. Those might even make her cry though, so really just stick with "What can I get you?" and "Yes, Dear".
She does look amazing though!
