Spencer Graves Caught The First Fish Off The Boat You Named, "Haul'n Bass"

Finally! A couple weeks ago, I gave an offer to Bay Marine for a used bass boat and got it! You were awesome for helping me name the boat, HAUL'n BASS! I've been fishing Lake Lanier like a mad man over the last few weeks. I've been watching different videos, reading blogs and reports, to gain a better understanding of the water. Different people have sent me coordinates to check out. With all this info, I've come up empty.

I love to joke that "it must be the boat." Obviously it can't be me, my lack of knowledge or baits being used, it has to be the boat. Well, it finally happened!

Now, I know what you're thinking, "did you catch the much larger fish on that bait you're showing us?" While that's funny, it's a great life lesson. This is history, this is fact, this is the truth of "HAUL'n BASS." My first fish that was caught on the boat isn't a "monster," it wouldn't even count in a tournament but it's the biggest fish I've caught...on that boat. Over my life time, I've caught bigger fish and this small spotted bass brought a smile just as big as the others. This fish, much like all of us, has a story.

The moral of the story, I'll keep fishing but nothing will ever replace the excitement that I had catching this fish.
