It's been many years since Mike Tyson was banned from boxing for nearly taking off Evander Holyfield's ear with his teeth, in the 1997 WBA Heavyweight Championship fight. Apparently, Tyson still sees the humor in it with his new weed product.
Tyson 2.0 is Mike's cannabis company. Their latest marijuana gummi candies are ear-shaped and even have a bite out of them. "You might be in business because we're going to make some holy ears," Tyson reportedly told Holyfield in a World Boxing News reports 2019 video. "Some edibles [of the ear] that got a bite taken out of 'em."
Holyfield seemed interested in the business venture responding, "Well, I could do that." No one knows if he has a partnership with Tyson on the new gummies but at least he has a sense of humor.
"Holy ears! They're finally here! Go get your Mike Bites now," his company said in a tweet.
"Cannabis has always played an important role in my life," Tyson wrote on the company site. "Cannabis has changed me for the good both mentally and physically, and I want to share that gift with others who are also seeking relief."
The product is only sold in California, Colorado and Nevada.
