Jason Aldean Dumped By Publicity Firm

Jason Aldean's publicity firm has dumped him after representing him for 17 years.

Tyne Parrish, who co-owns the publicity company, The Green Room, says,

“Music has always been and remains The Green Room’s core focus, so we had to make the difficult decision after 17 years to step away from representing Jason. We aren’t the best people for the gig anymore, but will always be big fans of his music — he is one of the greatest live entertainers in country music.”

Though not mentioned as the reason, the move comes days after Jason's wife Brittany expressed what some are calling a transphobic sentiment on her Instagram page saying,

"I’d really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase. I love this girly life."

Brittany has thanked her followers for their love and support after receiving scathing personal jabs from Cassadee Pope and Maren Morris. She also launched a limited-edition collection of Barbie inspired shirts and sweatshirts in response to being called “Insurrection Barbie” by Morris. In her post promoting the collection, Brittany wrote,

"Per usual, my words have been taken out of context over the last week. Instead of getting twisted about the twisting of my words, I’ve chosen to bring some good out of it."

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Operation Light Shine organization to help fight child exploitation and human trafficking.

The Green Room represents other country artists including Thomas Rhett, Brett Young, Lady A and Dierks Bentley. Jason will have no problems finding other representation.
