Fox News host Tucker Carlson recently interviewed Brittany Aldean about the backlash she received from Maren Morris in regard to a video she posted two weeks ago. In the video, Brittany showed a make-up transition with the comment,
"’I'd really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase. I love this girly life."
Maren Morris went after Brittany personally and attacked her opinions on social media calling her "Insurrection Barbie" to which Brittany responded with a Barbie-inspired limited edition fashion line a week later with a portion of the proceeds benefitting Operation Light Shine.
Brittany told Tucker Carlson she had never had a conversation with Maren or Cassadee Pope (who also attacked Brittany on social media) before all of this started. She also stated that this wasn't a political agenda for her. These were her opinions as a mother/parent. She also said she had received a ton of support from other folks in the country music community along with friends and family.

In retaliation of Tucker's comment, Maren has released a t-shirt with all proceeds to be split between Trans Lifeline and the GLADD Transgender Media Program. See below.
