Lindsay Ell’s Car Was Broken Into

Lindsay Ell is looking on the bright side. The “Champagne” singer’s rental car was broken into Thursday (10/11) in Los Angeles, and she took to social media to share the scary ordeal.

“I was walking out of the studio and came up to my car to see glass all over the street,” she says of what she saw after having been writing new songs all day in L.A. “My full backpack got stolen. My wallet. Lost about $5k of gear. Still have my guitars. The only part I’m really sad about is losing song and picture files that were on my hard drive and I hadn’t backed up yet.” Lindsay decided to remain positive, however, writing “stuff is stuff.” “I’m fine. New things can eventually be replaced. New songs can be written. It’s been a #longnight, but tomorrow is a new day. On the bright side, I did however get this fancy new plastic bag purse,” she captions, sarcastically.

Lindsay will next travel to Europe for scheduled shows on October 16 and 17.
