Good Weather For Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

It's looking good for balloons flying during Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.  Forecasts are predicting sustained winds between 17 to 20 miles per hour with gusts up to 30 miles per hour.  New York Police said they would ground the 16 iconic character balloons if sustained winds exceed 23 miles per hour and gusts reach 34 miles per hour.  New York is issuing an extreme cold warning and urging anyone planning on attending the parade to dress appropriately, including hats, scarves and gloves.  Conditions can change, but if the forecasts hold and there are no other safety issues it looks like the balloons will be able to fly.
