According to our thermometers, mercury is on the rise and summer is on the way! So, how do country stars beat the heat when playing outdoor venues and open field festivals?
Take your cue from Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line and Michael Ray before you embark on your outdoor converts. Here are some quick tips and planning tricks that they shared with Cody Alan.
Keith Urban goes for comfort first. âI just play, you know? I want to be able to move around and be comfy.â Keithâs biggest tip? âNot have pants that rip.â Good plan, Keith!
Luke Bryan goes for feeling confident in the heat. âWell, I mean when you are playing in downtown Philadelphia and itâs 110 degrees, Iâm going for the thong this year.â We predict that ticket sales would explode.
Tyler Hubbard from Florida Georgia Line goes for the âjust have funâ approach. âBeing out in the summer, you know, being outdoors... You mix some drinking and some country music and the most amazing fans in the world. It feels good to get a little hot and get a little sweaty and get a little uncomfortable. I think thatâs when everybody has the best time.â

Michael Ray, being a Floridian, he says donât worry about âwhatâs trendyâ. âI heard that board shorts arenât in style anymore? This is the first time that I have felt my age, so when did they become ânot cool?â keep wearing board shorts.â
