Alpharetta Cat Finds It's Way Home After 21 Days - Wins Award

Andrea Brannen and Elaine Jackson-Brannen did what most animal owners would do when their 4-year-old cat Minnow went missing from their home in Alpharetta, They posted flyers. They went door to door. they searched the area but to no avail.

21 days later Minnow returned home worse for the wear and was immediately taken to Midway Animal Hospital and diagnosed with dehydrated, starvation and a broken rib but still very much happy to be back!

According to the MDJ, Minnow has won the Nationwide Insurance Hambone award - for the most unusual pet insurance claim of the year.

Nationwide insurance awards the Hambone Award to a local veterinary clinic for their "pivotal care of pets in need." Minnow got the honor but Midway Animal Hospital received $10,000 to further care for animals whose owners may not be able to afford vet care.
