Schools officials in both Cobb and Fulton Counties have announced they will begin school this fall virtually as fears of COVID-19 spread continue.
These are the latest districts to join the growing number of Atlanta area schools starting the year virtually.
Cobb County initially was giving the choice to the parents to either have in school teaching or virtual, but said Thursday that they were moving strictly to online learning.
Fulton County said "will begin school as scheduled, however we will do so in a universal remote learning environment."
