Have you ever wondered what it’s like to drive around a world-class NASCAR racetrack? Race fans and car enthusiasts are invited to take a spin around Atlanta Motor Speedway to support the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. Presented by Georgia Drives Chevy, Laps For Hope will be held Friday, October 9th at 7 p.m. A fifty-dollar donation gives you a chance to drive your own vehicle over the historic racetrack’s 24-degree banked turns to benefit breast cancer patients and raise critically needed funds for research. The first lap of the evening will be a special tribute lap – “In Memory of Marcy” – dedicated to Marcy Scott, director of Marketing & Promotion at Atlanta Motor Speedway, who passed away from breast cancer. To more details and to purchase tickets, visit makingstrideswalk.org/atlantaga or call the American Cancer Society at 800-227-2345.
