Have a delicious Italian meal and help raise money for Pancreatic Cancer

This weekend, Alpharetta's 11th Annual Purple Pansies Gala for pancreatic cancer has gone virtual! This fabulous evening of food and wine with spectacular auctions is happening this Sunday, September 20th.

Purple Pansies is a nonprofit organization founded in 2008 by my friend Maria Fundora, owner of Casa Nouva Italian restaurant in Alpharetta. Following her mother’s death from pancreatic cancer, Maria said she felt the call to raise awareness and crucial research dollars for this chronically underfunded but deadly cancer.

Last year with the help of generous donors and partners like Kroger, Kraft/Heinz, Anheuser Busch and Coca Cola they raised $500,000. This year they have raised the bar with a goal of $600,000! PLUS, they have an anonymous donor willing to match the amount.

There are several ways you can participate this weekend.

You can order a delicious 4 course gourmet meal with 3 bottles of wine from Casa Nouva for curbside pickup here. GET THOSE ORDERS IN BY FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 18!!

You can also bid online for amazing items! Everything from jewelry, art, spa packages and gift certificates for local businesses to autographed memorabilia from some of your favorite sports teams and superstars.

Items from College teams like Georgia Bulldogs, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Auburn Tigers, LSU Tigers and Clemson Tigers. Pro teams like Atlanta Braves New York Yankees, Atlanta Falcons, Pittsburgh Steelers and more. Autographs from names like Matt Ryan, Julio Jones, Terry Bradshaw, Hershel Walker, Todd Gurley, John Smoltz and Ender Incearte. START BIDDING HERE!

Proceeds will help continue the mission of Purple Pansies to raise funds for research, clinical trials, early detection, and to aide families in our community who have a family member suffering from pancreatic cancer and financially can use our help.
