Eric Church takes us in the studio for the recording of his latest song

Eric Church gives fans an awesome look inside the recording studio he created in the mountains of Banner Elk, North Carolina. With a team of writers, his crew and longtime backup singer Joanna Cotten at his side, he transformed an Appalachian diner into a makeshift studio! His new video for “Hell Of A View” takes us on a tour. The new song was co-written by Eric Church alongside Casey Beathard who wrote “The Outsiders,” “Mr. Misunderstood” and Monty Criswell who wrote “Like Jesus Does”.

In February, I saw Eric in Nashville at Country Radio Seminar and he talked about how they turned an "Appalachian diner into a mountain music songwriting retreat". They wrote 28 songs in those 28 days.

Eric has been releasing those songs one per month since March when the quarantine began. “Crazyland,” “Bad Mother Trucker,” “Stick That in Your Country Song,” and “Never Break Heart.” Most recently "Hell Of A View"

He's nominated for entertainer of the year and male vocalist of the year at the upcoming CMA Awards on November 11.
