Kraft Heinz has announced a voluntary recall of nearly 6,000 cases of Capri Sun wild cherry flavor beverages.
According to a statement from the company, “The voluntary recall comes after diluted cleaning solution, which is used on food processing equipment, was inadvertently introduced into a production line at one of our factories,”
Kraft Heinz said the contamination was discovered after it received complaints about the taste of the wild cherry drinks.
The recall applies only to the wild cherry flavored products with a “Best When Used By” date of June 25, 2023, on them.
