The Washington Football Team will have a new name and logo in 2022 which was what was suggested in the past.
They created a team website Washingtonjourney.com which says "The Future of Washington Football arrives in 2022."
There's a timeline where you can see the creation process on the top right of the page.
If you go there you will see some already submitted ideas as well as being able to submit your own name for the team. You can also design a uniform and logo.
