The country music community is pretty well known for supporting each other and keeping any negative comments to one's self. However, Jason Aldean's wife, Brittany, caused a bit of division with a video and comment she posted last week on Instagram. If you follow Brittany on social media, you know that she has over two million followers and has made quite a career out of being a social media influencer. Brittany posted a before-and-after make up reel on Instagram thanking her parents for "not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase."
Over 174,000 people liked the post including a handful of country artists and their spouses who commented on Britt's glamorous look. Jason Aldean even commented,
"L-M-A-O, I'm glad, too 'cause you and I wouldn't have worked out."
However, other country artists didn't think the post was funny at all. Cassadee Pope shared her thoughts on Twitter which resulted in resounding support from Maren Morris... which garnered commentary from friends and foes, including conservative political influencer Candace Owens.
