I would have thought something like Fried Ice Cream was incredibly complicated to make... It's the kind of special dessert you get when you're out to dinner, not something you whip up on a Friday night at home when you're craving some dessert.
But apparently I've been very wrong, and I should have been making homemade fried ice cream all these years! I've been missing out!
Seriously, this looks amazing. Imagine making this for your spouse or your kid for their birthday or something! Or instead of pies on Thanksgiving, just have these little balls in the freezer and ready to go, then just drop into the oil when everyone's digesting their turkey!
