Hockey Fans Toss Thousands Of Stuffed Animals Onto The Ice For Charity

At a recent hockey game in Canada, thousands of stuffed animals hit the ice when fans threw them for a good cause. It was the Calgary Hitmen’s Annual Teddy Bear toss and at the end of the first period, more than 20,000 stuffed toys were thrown to the ice.

This is a HUGE annual tradition for Calgary fans, who show up every year for the big event!

The toys will be given to local agencies who will make sure they get to kids in need in time for Christmas. Over the last 23 years, the Hitmen have had an impressive 347,948 stuffed animals donated, which brought smiles to hundreds of thousands of kiddos.
