Miranda Lambert’s Foundation Gave Away $189K

I've said for years that Miranda Lambert has one of the biggest hearts in country music. Need proof? Check this out: her Muttnation Foundation just handed out $189,000 to no-kill animal shelters in different cities, all around the country.

About 50 shelters and humane societies received donations as part of the group’s Mutts Across America campaign, with each ground receiving anywhere from $3,000 to $5,000. Since starting the program, the organization has handed out more than $775,000 to 200 shelters across the nation.

“I am amazed and humbled by the great work these shelters do,” Miranda says, “and so honored to be able to support their critical efforts on behalf of rescue animals.”

Miranda is a dog-lover, and dogs love her right back!
