The continent of Africa could be splitting in two!
A massive crack opened up in the ground outside of Nairobi, Kenya seemingly overnight, stretching for miles.
It's dividing the land and scientists who can't seem to agree on why it's happening.
Geologist Ben Andrews thinks the crack is the result of shifting tectonic plates, and has been forming for thousands of years.
However, earthquake geologist Wendy Bohon disagrees. Bohon believes the crack is the result of heavy, torrential rains.
It's believed that in 50 million years, a chunk of Africa will, in fact, break off. Whether or not this is the beginning... Only time will tell!
