Man Crashes Into a Police Cruiser But Not With a Car

Meanwhile in Florida...Gary Wayne Anderson was arrested for DUI after crashing his lawnmower into the bumper of a police cruiser. Authorities say that Anderson's BAC was 0.241, which is THREE times the legal limit. Authorities say that Anderson crashed into the cruiser while the officer was dealing with another matter. When the officer walked around the rear of the cruiser, they noticed a lawnmower, pulling a trailer, wrecked into the bumper of the vehicle. Anderson told police that he hit the vehicle, but didn't cause any damage and that he was drunk.

Police said Anderson's driver's license has been suspended since March 1978 and he has two prior DUI convictions, with the most recent occurring in 1987.
