Florida Man Tries Stealing Groceries By Claiming He's a US Marshal

Meanwhile in Florida...Leroy Stotelmyer walked into the Palm Coast Publix on Belle Terre Parkway early one night. Stotelmyer left without paying for two boxes of potatoes and a grouper filet. When confronted by personnel, Stotelmyer claimed that as a US Marshal, he doesn't have to pay for groceries. They followed him to his car where he flashed a black badge holder with a US Marshal badge inside. Stotelmyer was found at home by deputies and was arrested on charges of false impersonation of a federal law enforcement officer, shoplifting and resisting a merchant, according to records.
