In June 2022, Reality TV stars from "Chistley Knows Best" were indicted on multiple counts of tax evasion and mail fraud. On Monday at 10a, they are being sentenced in Federal Court. Prosecutors are currently asking for the heavier side of the sentencing guidelines meaning that Todd would get 18 to 22years and Julie would likely end up with closer to 13years.
They are also currently being asked to repay close to 20million dollars for restitution for the crimes that they were found guilty of committing which included falsifying tax records and documents as well as bank statements for to fraudulently rent a residence in the Los Angeles area in which they refused to pay rent for.
Legal analysts familiar with the case are guessing that likely Todd will end up with close 20 years and Julie closer to 10years.
