For the second time in less than a month, Kenny Chesney has the number-one song in country music.
Last month, country's favorite beach bum reached the top of the charts on David Lee Murphy's "Everything's Gonna Be Alright." This week, his own single "Get Along" is number-one on the Mediabase Country Airplay chart.
"Get Along" steals the throne from Dan + Shay's two-week number-one, "Tequila," which falls to number-two. Jake Owen’s “I Was Jack (You Were Diane)” holds at number-three, while Brett Young’s “Mercy” jumps three places to number-four.
Keith Urban's "Coming Home" featuring Julia Michaels drops one spot to number-five.
This is Kenny's 32nd number-one hit! Two number-ones in a month? That's insane!
@mindysmithmusic’s voice is so much a part of my life on the islands. I woke up with her music, drifted across the ocean with her music, watched the sun sink and the stars come out to that voice. When I heard this song, and thought about what it means, I knew Mindy had to be on here, because she’s like an angel, a spirit who lets you know that no matter what, it’s going to be okay. That’s a very big deal. #BetterBoat is out now. #SONGSFORTHESAINTS is out July 27. (Link to preorder in bio.)
