While Eric Church doesn’t have any opening acts on his Holdin’ My Own Tour, he certainly isn’t alone when he steps out on stage. Besides being backed by his band, Eric says the audience plays a major role in what goes on at each show.
Eric notes, “you start feeling the crowd and you start playing off of them, and then it just starts to kind of take over and it becomes its own living, breathing thing.”
Eric says that sometimes it doesn’t even feel like he has control of his performance. He adds, “I’m not really steering it. It’s just doing its thing, and it’s been something.”
