Kenny Chesney sits on top of the country chart for the second week in a row with "Get Along," - it's the first single from his upcoming album, Songs for the Saints.
He wrote the song about the resiliency of the people on the Virgin Islands who had to rebuild their lives after Hurricane Irma.
"I was a true witness to a lot of people after the storms taking negative energy and turning it into positive energy and moving forward and moving along in their life with a certain strength they didn't know they had and that's what's beautiful about it."
Songs for the Saints comes out this Friday.
It's inspiring how Kenny has devoted himself to helping the people of the islands. The proceeds from the album go to a fund to help hurricane victims rebuild their lives. He also rescued several animals who were victims of the storm.
