Thomas Rhett is up for four CMA Awards this year: Male Vocalist and two Album of the Year nominations – one as the artist and another as the producer. He’s also in the running for Video of the Year for “Marry Me.” That’s a lot of hardware to be won and Thomas says he gives all of the credit to his dad.
"When I think about who taught me to sing in the first place, it was my dad. And to this day I think my dad is one of the best songwriters and performers I’ve ever gotten to witness. I think dad has been the main influence on me vocally and me as a songwriter and a performer. And so I owe dad a lot of credit for being here today."
