A man paddle-boarding on the Capistrano Beach California coast got a pretty shocking announcement from the sheriff's department helicopter above him. They told the man to "exit the water in a calm manner" because he was surrounded by more than a dozen great white sharks.
CALM?! WHAT?!!
This area is a hot bed for sharks and several attacks have occurred in the area. The country patrol is very aware and cautious of the sharks to prevent any further attacks. Advisories were posted all over the beaches in Southern California.
I would've lost my mind if I heard that announcement above me! There would've been nothing calm about my exit from the water. Probably would've looked something like this:
