A woman in New Jersey has been seriously injured after falling through an open sidewalk door while looking at her phone.
Video shows the woman was distracted while walking along Somerset Street in Plainfield. When she reached the area in front of Acme Windows, she tripped over the open door and fell into a basement area.
Firefighters were called to the scene and helped her out of the basement. She was taken to the hospital to be treated.
Officials said the door was open because workers were repairing a gas line.
