Dierks Bentley "Honored" To Have a Song In New Film "Only The Brave"

The first official trailer for Only The Brave just came out, and country star Dierks Bentley said he was "so honored" to be apart of the film.

It's based on the true story of the Granite Mountain elite firefighters who battled wildfires that got out of control through Arizona in June 2013. There is a major story of heroism among the team. Taylor Kitsch, stars along with Miles Teller, Josh Brolin, Jeff Bridges, and Jennifer Connelly.

Kitsch said of the film, "It’s a really important story. We want to honor the legacy they built. And it couldn’t be more relevant. There are 180 separate wildfires going on right now. And every year—because of global warming and a lot of other factors—it’s happening more and more."(GQ)

Bentley tweeted about the film, as well, saying, "so honored to have a song in this film. it sheds light on the lifestyle of wilderness fire fighters and honors these men and their families."

No word on what the song will be yet.

Only The Brave will hit theaters October 20th.
