Rising country singer Abby Nicole, 25, was tragically killed, after the UTV she was riding in near the Nebraska County Fair crashed.
Early Sunday she had just wrapped up a performance at the fair with her band County Road, when tragedy struck. Police responded to a call at 4:20am Sunday morning. Rreports of a woman being injured near the racetrack of Thayer County Fairgrounds while riding in a utility task vehicle. Abby was rushed to the nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead.
She was a rising country star from Norfolk, NE, who had just recorded her first single "Cool" in Nashville.
Fans of Abby mourned on social media writing things like this: "That smile, those eyes, that laugh, that voice, that soothing touch, her incredible undeniable way of making anyone and everyone feel so loved. What a gift to this world. I will see you again someday Abby. I love you and miss you so damn much."
County Roads manager and drummer said in a statement to Fox News, "Our biggest thing that we’ve been portraying to everybody is this was tragic for us all, but we really appreciate the condolences and everybody reaching out.”
She seemed to have a lot of promise, listening to her debut single. Who knows what she could've brought to the Country Music world.
